The death has been announced of Ezinne Gold Obinnaya Egege (nee Ahuchuogu), aged 68 years. She was the mother-in-law of the Deputy Governor of Delta State, Sir Monday Onyeme, FCA. A statement signed by the Deputy Governor's father-in-law, Sir Ishmael Egege, stated that the deceased died on the 30th of October, 2022 after a brief illness. Sheriff Oborevwori, has endorsed the report of the Socio-Economic Rights And Accountability Project (SERAP) which called for a review of the Niger Delta Development plan to determine its successes, failures and areas for improvement among other recommendations.
