Oborevwori felicitates Leo Ogor at 65

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has congratulated former Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Leo Ogor, as he clocks 65 years on January 6.

Ogor, represented Isoko Federal Constituency in the Green Chamber, from 2003 – 2023 and was elected Deputy Majority Leader in 2011.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, the governor described the erstwhile lawmaker as a “courageous leader with great accomplishments.”

He said that the contributions of Leo Ogor in Nigeria’s legislature would remain indelible in the minds of Nigerians.

“As a former lawmaker, you were outstanding, and as a politician you have been a reference point for upcoming politicians in Isoko, Delta and Nigeria.

“As an administration, we appreciate your sterling contributions to the growth and development of Delta, especially in the Isoko Federal Constituency where you represented the people for solid unbroken 20 years.

“We are indeed proud of your representation in the National Assembly and we will continue to pray to God to perfect your health and grant you greater years ahead.
“You were elected as Minority Leader in the 8th Assembly after serving as Deputy Majority Leader in the 7th Assembly, which brings to mind your impressive accomplishments in the House of Representatives.

“I can testify to your integrity, loyalty, simplicity, and dedication to excellence. All the people whose lives you have impacted in various ways will find motivation in these qualities.

“On behalf of the government and people of Delta, I join the people of Isoko nation, admirers and well wishers across the country to congratulate you, Hon. Leonard Okuweh Ogor, on the ocassion of your 65th birth anniversary.

“It is our prayer that God will continue to bless you with good health and many more years of great accomplishments,” Oborevwori stated.
