Report on the Bill for an Act to amend the university teaching hospitals (reconstitution of boards, etc.)
During THE plenary session on the 20th of November 2024, Hon. Amos Gwamna Magaji, the chairman of House Committee on Health Institutions, presented the report for my Bill: A Bill for an Act to amend the university teaching hospitals (reconstitution of boards, etc.) Act No. 10, 1985, and for related matters, 2023 (HB.962), which was unanimously adopted by the house.
The Bill seeks to amend the university teaching hospitals (reconstitution of boards, etc.) Act No. 10, 1985, to include Federal University Teaching Hospital, Erawha-Owhe, Isoko North, Delta State.
I am optimistic this Bill will successfully pass through the third reading and would be assented to by the president and establish the first ever federal institution in Isoko North and South Federal Constituency. ~UJA
