Rep. Ukodhiko tasks Otibio Ward PDP executives on unity
…calls for grassroot support for Gov Oborevwori
Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko has charged the Ward Executive of Otibio Ward 13 Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) on the need to work to unite and strengthen the party through fellowship building.
The House of Representatives member gave the charge on Friday at his Erawha-Owhe country-home in Isoko North Local Government Area when he received members of the Ward Executive of the Party led by the Chairman, Chief P.C. Onaibre on a familiarization visit.
Hon. Ukodhiko in his remark, enjoined the Otibio Ward Party Executive members to be more committed and dedicated to the growth of the Peoples Democratic Party and its members.
The National Assembly member encouraged the Ward EXCO members to maintain their support for the Governor of the Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori in order for him to do more for the Ward and Isokonation at large.
He noted that, Governor Oborevwori is irrevocably committed to bringing government closer to the people at the grassroots in the State in line with the M.O.R. E Agenda of his administration.
Saying that, “all efforts from us at the Ward level in Isoko should be geared towards uniting the party members and encouraging the remaining members of the opposition parties at the Ward levels to join the PDP.
“Yes, I want you all to go out there to our units to preach peace, work to grow, unite and put the the party together in massive grass-root support for our Governor and our great party, the PDP, ensuring we turn out more votes in the 2027 elections.” He added.
Hon. Ukodhiko who is the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives’ Committee on Science and Technology assured of his continued support for the party’s activities in the Ward.
He further assured of more economic empowerment programme and employment opportunities that would improve the lives of the party’s faithfuls and people of Isoko inrespective of party affiliations, urging all to remain patience and steadfast to the party and its leadership.
In his speech, the Otibio Ward PDP Chairman, Chief Onaibre thanked the House of Representatives member for his huge support to the newly-elected party executive members and Otibio Ward.
He assured of the commitment of the Ward Exco members to the leadership of the party in the Ward and support for the Governor, while also calling for more support for the Ward party’s activities.
