Rep. Ukodhiko flags-off free medical outreach in Isoko to mark 50th birthday

Member representing Isoko Federal Constituency, Hon. Jonathan Ukodhiko, on Friday, flagged off a free medical outreach to mark his 50th birth anniversary.

Flanked by the Delta State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme, the House of Representatives member said, the medical outreach would last till Sunday, 23rd of March.

Hon. Ukodhiko said the programme would provide comprehensive medical care to children, youths, and the elderly in Isoko.

Saying, “essential medical services rendered at the centers are free medical consultation, drugs, eye examination and dispensing of eye glasses, teeth extraction, radiography, scaling and polishing.

“And on ground to attend to our people of Isoko are professional healthcare workers, including medical doctors, surgeons, opticians, pediatricians, pharmacists, and nurses.

“Together with our son and brother, the State Health Commissioner, Dr. Onojaeme, we toured the four centers for the outreach beginning from my Erawha-Owhe country home to Ozoro General Hospital, my Constituency office in Oleh, and Olomoro General Hospital.

“We are impressed with the level of medical services being rendered and, we are urging more of our people to avail themselves to be attended to medically.

“I must thank my brother, Dr. Onojaeme who has been hugely supportive to the outreach. We in Isoko are proud of him. He’s doing extremely well in changing the State’s Health sector.”

“Not forgetting my medical team headed by Dr Aghogho Abanaba, and the UJA Family Foundation (UFF), the sponsor of the medical programme.” Hon. Ukodhiko added.

In his remark, State Health Commissioner, Dr. Joseph Onojaeme lauded the member representing Isoko Federal Constituency for the medical outreach which he said was a marvelous initiative.
