Bill for an Act to Repeal the Technology Business Incubation Foundation (Takeover) Act, to Provide for the Establishment of the National Agency for Technology Incubation and Other Related Matters (HB. 1055)
At yesterday’s plenary session (15/10/2024), I presented a Bill titled “A Bill for an Act to Repeal the Technology Business Incubation Foundation (Takeover) Act, to Provide for the Establishment of the National Agency for Technology Incubation and Other Related Matters (HB. 1055),” for second reading.
The Bill, which has now passed through second reading and has been referred to the relevant House Committees for further deliberations before third reading and passage into law, principally seeks to empower the agency to drive the globally recognised economic development tools used to fast-track local and regional economic development of our country.
This Bill represents a significant step forward in our commitment to fostering innovation and technological advancement in Nigeria.
By establishing the National Agency for Technology Incubation, we are not only investing in our present capabilities but also securing our future as a nation that can compete on the global stage of technological innovation.
