Oborevwori felicitates Margaret Idahosa at 80

Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori has congratulated the Presiding Archbishop of Church of God Mission International, Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa, as she clocks 80 years.

Margaret Idahosa is the wife of Late Archbishop Benson Idahosa, Chancellor of Benson Idahosa University and Proprietor of Faith Group of Schools.

Oborevwori in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, in Asaba, acknowledged Archbishop Margaret Idahosa’s immense contribution to nation-building through prayers and grooming of God-fearing Christian faithful in the Country and across the world.

Oborevwori described Margaret Idahosa, Africa’s first female Archbishop, as a role model whose leadership credentials were worth studying.

“As a mother in Israel, you have continued to render indelible service to humanity by making yourself available to mentor our girl-child and society at large.

“It is on record that you distinguished yourself as an astute preacher, indefatigable administrator and leader of immense repute and we remain very proud of your sterling accomplishments in the leadership of the church left behind by our beloved father almost three decades ago.

“On behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, I congratulate our mother in the Lord, Archbishop Margaret Benson-Idahosa on her 80th birth anniversary.

“I join your family and entire leadership and worshippers at Church of God Mission International, friends and well-wishers to thank Almighty God for your life which has been marked by robustly sterling accomplishments and abounding fulfillment.

“As you celebrate this anniversary, it is my prayer that Almighty God continue to bless you with good health and more years of happiness and contributions to nation-building and God’s vineyard,” Oborevwori added.
