The Delta State Executive Council has approved the sum of N10 billion as Social Investment to fund palliatives for Deltans. This was part of decisions reached at the maiden State Executive Council meeting presided over by Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on Wednesday at Exco Chambers, Government House, Asaba. As part of measures to cushion the impact of fuel subsidy removal, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, Tuesday, rolled out palliatives for workers in the state with each set to receive N10,000 monthly as support from the government.
